On 1 July 1998 the Construction Site Ordinance (abbreviated to BaustellV in German) entered into force, thus transposing the European Construction Site Directive, 92/57/EEC, into German law. The Construction Site Ordinance supplements German OSH legislation relating to the planning and execution of building projects.

NB:
The texts of the ordinances which can be viewed on this website are not the official versions. Under existing law, only the hard-copy version of the "Bundesgesetzblatt" (Federal Law Gazette) contains the official versions of ordinances. The "Bundesgesetzblatt" is published by Germany's Federal Ministry of Justice and can be obtained from Bundesanzeiger Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Postfach 13 20, 53003 Bonn, Germany.
A free, read-only version of Part I of the "Bundesgesetzblatt" from 1998 onwards is provided on the Bundesanzeiger Verlagsgesellschaft mbH website. It is not possible to extract text there.
However, the subscription version , for which a charge is payable, enables the user to print out the document and extract text.
