Occupational Exposure Limits

Occupational exposure limits are an important aid in risk evaluation and management, and supply valuable information for monitoring dangerous substances and thus for safeguarding safety and health at work.

Occupational exposure limits can apply to end products as well as waste and byproducts resulting from production processes. They serve to provide protection against health damage but they do not cover safety-related aspects such as concentrations of inflammable substances.
